Paris 2024 Olympics: Bulgaria will have representatives in four sports on Friday

Bulgaria will have representatives in four sports at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday.  On August 8, the country won 4 medals, including 1 gold and 3 bronze. 


Weightlifter Karlos Nasar and rhythmic gymnast Boryana Kaleyn stand chances of winning medals on Friday. Wrestler Magomed Ramazanov has also guaranteed at least a silver medal after advancing to the men’s 86 kg freestyle wrestling final.

The rhythmic gymnastics group qualifications will begin at 11.00 am. The Bulgarian team will be aiming to qualify for Saturday's finals.

At 12.30 pm, wrestler Bilyana Dudova will play her first match in the women’s 62 kg freestyle event.

At 2:00 PM, Todor Mihalev will participate at the pentathlon semifinals.

The rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around finals will begin at 15.30 pm. Boryana Kaleyn will compete for a medal in this event.

At 16.00, Carlos Nasar will participate at the men’s 89 kg weightlifting event.

At 21.30 pm, freestyle wrestler Magomed Ramazanov will face Hassan Yazdani (Iran) in the gold medal match.
