Lyudmila Petkova remains caretaker Minister of Finance in Kozharova's cabinet

Caretaker Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister Lyudmila Petkova has agreed to remain in office in the next caretaker government, her team told BNR. Petkova has accepted the invitation of the nominee for prime minister, Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva. Earlier the Ministry of Finance refused to comment on the talks. It is possible that Lyudmila Petkova will also retain the position of Deputy Prime Minister in the new cabinet.

Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva, nominated by President Rumen Radev as the next caretaker Prime Minister has 6 days to choose ministers for the cabinet. The former ministers of defence, transport, culture, justice and finance - Atanas Zapryanov, Georgi Gvozdeikov, Nayden Todorov, Maria Pavlova and Lyudmila Petkova, expressed their desire to remain in their positions.
