One day after the operation by the European Public Prosecutor's Office, EPPO, investigating Bulgartransgaz and four other companies in the country, Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov and Bulgartransgaz CEO Kiril Ravnachki gave more information, on the Bulgarian side, about the searches carried out.
“We have provided full access to the information about the project for the extension of the underground gas storage facility at Chiren. The management and the staff of Bulgartransgaz are cooperating in every way regarding this project. In view of the large amount of data, registering and recording all of the information provided took more than 10 hours. The investigating authorities thanked the company for the full cooperation.”
