President Rumen Radev has tasked caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev with proposing a new composition for the caretaker government. "The crisis in one institution cannot be resolved by igniting a fire in another. You must carefully propose changes to the Council of Ministers. I urge your government to prioritise the fight against the vote-trading. I expect you to present by Monday a Cabinet composition that is consistent with this objective. I will then issue a decree and you will be sworn in the same day. If successful, elections will be held on October 27," Radev said.

"My main task will be to reduce political tension. On Monday, I will present the composition of the caretaker cabinet," Glavchev replied.
