Dimitar Glavchev has a second chance to present a cabinet that will ensure the holding of fair and transparent elections, so that we can have a new government in a few months, Vice President Iliana Iotova told journalists. Ms Iotova attended the celebrations on Mount Shipka for the 147th anniversary of the Battle of Shipka.

On Monday, the caretaker prime minister Dimitar Glavchev is expected to propose a new caretaker cabinet to the head of state.
Asked whether President Rumen Radev would again refuse to sign the decree appointing a government if Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov were in that cabinet, the vice-president said: "What is the point of refusing the previous time with very clear and strong arguments why he did not sign the decree, but doing it the second time".

Iliyana Iotova stressed that Kalin Stoyanov's actions over the past few days have shown that he is striving for a political career, and there is no way that such a person could hold fair elections. "We are leaving everything in the hands of Dimitar Glavchev and we will see the result on Monday," she said, when asked whether she thought there was a person who could take up the post of interior minister.
