Police officers and citizens took part in a charity pedestrian procession in Burgas in memory of two employees of the Ministry of the Interior - Atanas Gradev and Yordan Iliev, who died on the road. Today marks 2 years since a bus carrying migrants hit a police car at a roundabout in Burgas.
Over a hundred policemen from the entire system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs paid tribute to the fallen Burgas policemen. They laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial plaque at the scene of the accident, and a memorial service was held.

"The initiative aims to raise funds for the families of the fallen employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. This is the most difficult moment in my career of more than 20 years. I hope that, since the case is in the judicial phase, the court will impose a fair punishment for this terrible act", said Senior Commissioner Emil Pavlov, Director of the Burgas Police.

The wife of the deceased commando Emil Sharkov - Maria, said that the foundation of the same name supports more than 60 families, including 96 children of deceased police officers. "In the last month alone, we have 4 new families who entered the large community of the Emil Sharkov Foundation, and 8 new children," she added.
