Weather forecast: The rain and thunder continue, the wind picks up

Over the next 24 hours the atmosphere over the country will remain unstable. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will continue to form and there will be brief showers, in some parts there will be heavy rain and thunder. Conditions are at hand for hail. During the night the Northerly wind in Eastern Bulgaria will die down.

On Friday the wind will pick up again. Maximum temperatures 23° C. in the Northeastern parts to 31° C. in Southwestern Bulgaria, for Sofia 25-26° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds with rain and thunder in many parts. There will be a moderate wind from the North-Northeast. Maximum temperatures 24-27° C., temperature of the sea water 26-27° C., sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains there will be cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds with intermittent rain and thunder. There will be a light to moderate wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m 20-21° C., at 2,000 m. around 13° C.
