Bulgarian Red Cross and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in joint exercise

Over a hundred participants in the voluntary teams of the Bulgarian Red Cross for disaster and crisis action, as well as representatives of the International Federation of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent, will take part from today until September 13 in the national exercise "Madara 24" near the village of the same name in the locality Kireka, Shumen region.

The goal is to increase the readiness for an immediate and adequate response to help victims in a disaster or crisis situation and to improve the interaction not only between the teams of the Red Cross organization, but also with other responsible institutions, informs the BRC.

One of the most important events will take place on September 12, when a training session will be played in the area of ​​the Kyulevcha dam with a demonstration of providing assistance to many victims in the event of a disaster. Volunteers from the Unified Rescue System will also participate in it.
