For yet another year, the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad will present the annual award "Bulgarian Woman of the Year - Sveta Zlata Maglenska 2023" at an official ceremony to be held in October.

24 Bulgarian women residing in 19 countries have been nominated for the prestigious award. The jury will choose the most worthy of them. However, the public can also make their choice by voting online for the "Audience's Favorite Bulgarian woman" award in the annual competition of the Executive Agency for Bulgarians abroad HERE

Voting ends on 2 October 2024 at 3 pm.

"We want people to see how much Bulgarian women love their homeland, as they sacrifice efforts and time that they could have given to their families, to preserve the Bulgarian language and Bulgarian culture.

Each one of these 24 Bulgarian women has already been rewarded by being nominated. This means that her work has already been noticed and that is why we wanted the whole society to learn their names and maybe choose one of them to vote for who will receive the award of the Bulgarian audience", the executive director for the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad Raina Mandjukova said in an interview for Radio Bulgaria.
