The documentary film "The Heart of the Other Bulgaria" by journalist Milena Milotinova had its premiere at the Central Military Club in Sofia. The film is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad.
The documentary is about the three children's competitions—for drawing, literature and singing— organized by the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad. It is also about the annual award ''Bulgarian Woman of the Year - Sveta Zlata Maglenska'', the efforts to provide targeted funding for Bulgarian cultural associations abroad, as well as about the road that led to the financing of Sunday schools abroad by Bulgaria. After the premiere, the head of the institution, Rayna Mandzhukova, said that the documentary "is not exactly about the Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, but rather about Bulgarians around the world—people who have left but remain part of Bulgaria’’.
