The competition will be held in Berlin from September 20 to 22. The Bulgarian tennis player will team up with Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniil Medvedev in Team Europe, while Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Francisco Cerundolo and Alejandro Tabilo will play for Team World.
Team World has won 2 Laver Cup titles, while Team Europe has won 4 titles. This year's Laver Cup will be the last for captains John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg.
