Weather forecast for 14 September

Week ends with autumn-like clouds and rain

On Saturday, northwesterly winds will bring cooler temperatures across the country. Cloudiness will be variable to significant, with showers and thunderstorms in the mountains and east. Lows will be between 12° and 20°C, 12° in Sofia. Highs will be 25-27°C, lower in the north-western regions 16-18°C, 17°C in the capital. 

Along the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with rain showers. Air temperatures will reach 26-28°C or slightly higher than the sea temperature - 24-26°C. The sea swell will be 2-3. 

Over the mountains it will be cloudy with showers of rain and snow on the highest peaks. The maximum temperature will be up to 12°C at 1,200 m and up to 7°C at 2,000 m.

On Sunday, the weather will remain unchanged with less precipitation. Minimum temperatures will be between 6° and 11°C, higher on the Black Sea coast, and maximum temperatures between 16° and 21°C.
