Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev opened the Tourism Forum "Bulgaria - Discover and Share" in Istanbul, Turkey. The forum aims to explore opportunities for cooperation between Bulgarian and Turkish tourism products. "I believe that there is significant potential for further development of tourism exchanges between our two countries," Miloshev said. He pointed out that Bulgaria's winter tourist destinations were well known in Turkey, with Bansko being a prime example. More than 53 000 Turkish tourists will visit Bulgaria between 1 December 2023 and 25 March 2024.

During a meeting with representatives of the Turkish Travel Agencies Association, Miloshev stressed the need to create a joint tourism product between Turkey and Bulgaria. "Our countries will benefit from the creation of joint tourist routes based on our common history, culture and culinary traditions," the Tourism Minister said.
