People’s best friends will parade today at the Pet Parade in Ruse's Youth Park. All dogs, cats, rabbits, hedgehogs, lizards, turtles, rodents, exotic species, birds are welcome along with their owners to participate in the "All animals are wonderful!" contest.
"The idea is for the park to become a meeting point for animal lovers from the city and for the participants and guests of the event to enjoy the variety of animal species. There will be gifts, treats and surprises for everyone", said Alexandrina Koleva from the municipal foundation "Ruse - City of the Free Spirit", which is the organizer of the event.
During the parade, the municipal shelter for stray animals will be open for people who want to adopt a dog. Each visitor will also be able to make a donation for the institution's causes dedicated to the care of dogs and cats.
