The latest flight was welcomed by Minister of Transport Krasimira Stoyanova. She said that the Bulgarian authorities remain ready to evacuate more people from Beirut. According to her, all those who wished to return to Sofia are already on Bulgarian territory. 50 of those who returned are children, as 12 of them are babies.

According to data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are 400 Bulgarians in Lebanon, but not all of them wished to evacuate. The director general of the state aviation operator, Brigadier General Todor Kodzheykov, told bTV that if conditions permit, another flight would be made to Lebanon, but everything depended on the government.
