Bulgarian Jew David Levi, who survived Iran's missile attack against Israel in a bomb shelter, has told BNR that the situation in the country has calmed down with the opening of the airspace. This is a sign that the attack has passed, he pointed out. The strike did not cause casualties. There are expectations for a retaliatory reaction from Israel, but the situation in the country is not tense, Levi says. According to him, the population's preparation is extremely good and they are already getting ready for the holiday of Rosh Hashanah (New Year in Judaism).

The Jewish New Year starts and it is followed by 10 days of holidays. If Iran had delayed the attack, there would certainly have been many civilian victims, Associate Prof. Mira Mayer told BNT. "The United States do not want a major war until the presidential election on November 5 because this would hurt the Democratic Party," Mayer added.
