No reports of injured Bulgarians after the escalation of tensions in the Middle East

The Bulgarian foreign ministry is in constant contact with the Bulgarian embassies in Beirut, Tel Aviv and Tehran, announced by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elena Shekerletova, at a briefing in the Council of Ministers.

The Bulgarian diplomatic missions in Lebanon, Israel and Iran continue to operate. There is no information about any injured Bulgarians after the escalation of tension in the Middle East region in recent hours.  Another 25 Bulgarians and members of their families have expressed their desire to be evacuated from Lebanon. Various options are being sought for their evacuation, including with partner and allied countries.

With two flights of the government Airbus, Bulgaria has already returned Bulgarian citizens who wished to evacuate from Lebanon.
