Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on Bulgarian citizens in Iran to leave the country immediately due to the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, the Situation Center announced on the Foreign Ministry’s website. Bulgarian citizens in Iran are advised to strictly follow the security instructions of the local authorities, stay updated on the situation and avoid military or crowded areas.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also recommends that Bulgarian citizens report their location and intended length of stay in Iran as soon as possible by calling the Embassy in Iran or sending a mail to the Bulgarian Consulate in Tehran at: consulate.tehran@mfa.bg.
