On Sunday the weather will be predominantly cloudy, with the clouds scattering temporarily over Western Bulgaria. There will be rain in many parts with thunder in the Rhodopes and the Eastern regions where there will be more significant rainfall. There will be a light to moderate wind from the West-Northwest, in Eastern Bulgaria – from the North-Northeast. Daytime highs will reach 16-21° C., in the Southeastern parts of the country - 24-25° C., for Sofia around 16° C.
Over the mountains there will be changeable clouds, more significant over the Rhodopes and the central and Eastern portions of the Balkan Range where, in many parts, there will be rain and thunder. Over the mountains of Western Bulgaria there will be rain after midday. The moderate to strong Southwesterly wind will continue, in the lower parts of the mountains of Western Bulgaria the wind will be moderate from the West-Northwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 14° C., at 2,000 m. around 8° C.
