Bulgaria to take part in Brave Warrior 2024

Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov is attending a meeting of the EU Military Committee (EUMC), which begins today in Budapest. The forum takes place under Hungary's rotating presidency of the EU. 

Senior military officials will discuss the implementation of the EU's strategic defence objectives and other pressing issues on the Common Security and Defence Policy agenda arising from the dynamic security environment. 

On 16 October, the Chiefs of Defence will participate in the Senior Visitors Day of the Brave Warrior 2024 multinational exercise in Hungary. The Bulgarian Army is taking part in the exercise with a C-27J Spartan transport aircraft and an AS 532 Cougar helicopter, units from the Joint Special Operations Command and troops with medical equipment from the Military Medical Academy, state news agency BTA reported.
