Weather forecast for 17 October

Sunny weather with fairly high temperatures

Thursday will be mostly sunny. There will be more clouds over north-eastern and central Bulgaria, clearing towards the end of the day. Light to moderate winds will blow from the east, temporarily strong from the north in eastern Bulgaria. Minimum temperatures will be between 4 and 9°C, around 5°C in Sofia, and maximum temperatures will be between 13 and 20°C, around 16°C in Sofia.

In the mountains there will be variable clouds and moderate to strong northwesterly winds on the highest peaks of Rila and Pirin. The maximum temperature will be 10°-11°C at 1,200 m and about 4° at 2,000 m.

Along the Black Sea coast, there will be considerable cloudiness over the northern coast before noon and over the southern coast in the afternoon. Moderate to strong northerly winds are expected. Maximum temperatures will be between 13°C and 16°C and sea water temperatures will be 20°-21°. The swell will be 3-4.
