Grigor Dimitrov reaches final of Stockholm Open

Grigor Dimitrov is one match away from the title in the ATP 250 tournament in Stockholm with a prize fund of €767,455.

In the semi-final, the Bulgarian tennis player won 2:6, 7:5, 6:4 against Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor. Dimitrov will play for the title against against Tommy Paul from the United States, who won against Swiss veteran Stan Wawrinka 6:3, 6:2.

"I knew it would be a great game. There were a lot of things going against me - Tallon Griekspoor was having one of the best games of his career. I needed to win after such a fight", Grigor Dimitrov said.

If he prevails in the final match, the Bulgarian would add a second title from Stockholm to his collection after the one in 2013. He also reached the final in the same tournament in 2014 and 2017.

In the next week, Grigor Dimitrov begins his participation in the tournament in Vienna from the ATP 500 series, where he will face Chinese Zhizhen Zhang at the start.
