A Bulgarian production company will build a new film center worth EUR 15 million in the Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park. The film center will span over 30,000 square meters. The contract for the sale of the land will be signed at the end of November, said the Ministry of Economy and Industry. The investment will create 40 permanent and nearly 1,000 temporary jobs.
The private company has already filmed a large number of foreign advertising, music and film projects, offering its clients filming locations in Bulgaria that replicate streets in major Western cities and other specific places. The company's portfolio includes commercials for world-famous automotive and cosmetic brands, as well as music videos for celebrities such as Martin Garrix, Michael Bublé and Rita Ora.
