Weather forecast: Rain and snow expected on Monday

On Monday, rain will fall in many places in Northern and Eastern Bulgaria. It will snow in the Pre-Balkans. It will be mostly sunny over the southwestern parts of the country. However, clouds will increase in the afternoon hours. The lowest temperatures in Southern Bulgaria will range from minus 3°C to 1°C, north of the Balkan Mountains – from 2°C to 5°, for Sofia – around minus 1°C. Daytime highs in most places will be between 4°C and 9°C, in the southern regions up to 12°C, for Sofia – around 7°C.

It will be mostly cloudy over the mountains. It will snow in the Balkan Mountains. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters around 2°C, at 2,000 meters- around minus 2°C.

It will be cloudy over the Black Sea coast. There will be rain in many places along the southern portion of the seacoast. Daytime highs will range from 10°C to 12°C. The seawater temperature is 15°C-16°C. Sea state 3-4.
