The deputy from "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" Nadezhda Yordanova has denied the information that an agreement was reached with GERB - SDS for the formation of a governing majority, on the basis of which Atanas Atanasov from the parliamentary group of PP-DB to be elected as President of the National Assembly, and the leader of GERB Boyko Borissov - as Prime Minister.

"There is no such offer in the correspondence for a meeting with GERB colleagues, so this is speculation," she told BNR.

At the same time, the co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov expressed the position that the conditions set by PP-DB to start negotiations on forming a government are not insurmountable. He asked the question whether it is so insurmountable for GERB to give up Delyan Peevski, whose party entered the National Assembly with bought votes; Borislav Sarafov - the man with the meetings with Petyo aka the Euro, not to be Prosecutor General; Boyko Borissov, who ended up with huge protests in 2020, not to become Prime Minister.

According to Nadezhda Yordanova, the responsibility of not having a parliamentary speaker for 27 days is GERB's, because the party has not initiated a normal dialogue and is running away from responsibility. "Their behaviour is that they want Bulgaria to go to new early elections with a vague goal," she added.
