A mural dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Bulgaria's NATO accession will be unveiled today in Pernik. The event will be attended by the ambassadors of Great Britain, Turkey and Montenegro, Deputy Foreign Minister Nevyana Miteva, Pernik Regional Governor Lyudmil Veselinov, residents and guests of the city.

The author of the mural is a young artist who is involved in street art. He won a project of Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry and was assigned to paint the approved work, said Adrian Skrimov, spokesman for Pernik Municipality.

The painting is located on the facade of the Panorama Hall in the center of Pernik, where the Municipal Council meets.

After the ceremony, the official guests will meet with Mayor Stanislav Vladimirov, and the British Ambassador Nathaniel Kopsi will spend the entire day in the town to talk with representatives of local institutions and organizations.
