After finally succeeding in electing a Speaker of the 51st National Assembly - Natalia Kiselova, proposed by the BSP - United Left, MPs voted en bloc for the appointment of 7 Deputy Speakers of the 51st National Assembly. They were elected with 202 votes in favour and one abstention.
The deputy speakers are: Raya Nazaryan of GERB - SDS, Atanas Atanasov of We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB), Tsoncho Ganev of Vazrazhdane, Dragomir Stoynev of BSP - United Left, Hairi Sadakov of the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (APS), Nikoleta Kuzmanova of There is Such a People (ITN) and Radostin Vassilev of MECH.

DPS - New Beginning did not nominate a deputy. Its deputies left the plenary hall immediately after the election of Natalya Kiselova and did not take part in the vote for deputy speakers.

"Let's hope they work quickly now, let the roulette wheel spin and we go to the elections," DPS-New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski commented on the sidelines of Parliament. Asked if there was a chance of a regular government, he said. "One thing is certain - I, Delyan Peevski, will stop them".
