Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Donald Trump discuss the war in Ukraine

President Rumen Radev met with US President-elect Donald Trump during a working visit to France on December 7-9. "With US President-elect Donald Trump, we discussed the war in Ukraine and ways to end it as soon as possible by diplomatic means," Radev wrote on his Facebook account.

Radev is in Paris at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron for the inauguration of the restored Notre Dame Cathedral on 7 December. On 9 December, Rumen Radev will meet the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, in Strasbourg.
