A two-day festival of non-fiction books “Science, art and culture” is opening within the frameworks of the 51st Sofia International Book Festival at the National Palace of Culture.
Over the weekend, fans of history, art, cultural tourism and ethnology will be able to find the books they have been looking for – the organizers aim to attract new audiences, people with an interest in a different kind of literature, the kind of literature that is the result of evidence-based research in the sphere of science. This is the kind of literature that contributes to developing critical thinking and functional literacy, and helps people tell the difference between fact-based information, genuine history and fake sources.
