In the presence of diplomats, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov unveiled in Plovdiv the latest mural from the ministry's competition "Bulgaria - More Beautiful in NATO". The event is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the country's membership in the Alliance. The mural is the work of talented graffiti artist Ivan Yankov.

"I am glad that this mural was created in Plovdiv - the second largest and most important city in the country, a university center, a cultural capital, a city that is developing rapidly," Kondov pointed out.

"The unique work symbolizes the strength and unity of NATO. The artist's vision of partnership, cooperation and unification is vividly embodied in the lion - a symbol of courage and nobility. Bulgaria distinguishes itself within the Alliance with its work with partners in the name of security on NATO's eastern flank and in the Black Sea region," emphasized US Ambassador Kenneth Merten in his official address.
