Bulgarian Foreign Ministry expresses condolences to Croatia over Zagreb school tragedy

The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has expressed its heartfelt condolences over the terrible tragedy at the Prečko School in Zagreb. "Our thoughts are with the people of Croatia," the ministry wrote on the X network. 

A child died on December 20, and three other children and two adults were injured after a stabbing attack by a 19-year-old man at the Prečko Elementary School in Zagreb, BTA reported. 

In Zagreb, December 21 has been declared a Day of Mourning in memory of the 7-year-old child who was killed. 

The attacker is a former graduate of the school with mental disabilities and after the attack he made an unsuccessful suicide attempt.
