Rain stops over Western Bulgaria

On Saturday, most of the country will be covered with clouds. There will be light snow showers, especially in central and eastern areas of Northern Bulgaria. During the day, clouds will break over Western Bulgaria. Light to moderate north-north-westerly winds will blow, stronger in the Struma Valley and eastern Bulgaria. Lows will be between minus 4 and 1°C, around minus 3°C in Sofia, highs between 1° and 6°C, around 3°C in the capital.

In the mountains of central and eastern Bulgaria it will be cloudy with snow showers and strong to gusty north-easterly winds. In the western areas the clouds will break up and clear. The maximum temperature will be 0°C at 1,200 m and around minus 6°C at 2,000 m.

The Black Sea coast will be cloudy and rainy. Maximum temperatures will be between 3 and 6°C. The sea water will be 9-10°C. The sea swell will be up to 3-4 bar.

Sunday will be sunny and calm in Western and Central Bulgaria. In Eastern Bulgaria it will be mostly cloudy. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 5° and 0°C. Maximum temperatures will be between 2° and 7°C.
