Scientists from the UAE, Montenegro and Greece travel to Antarctica onboard the Bulgarian ship

The Bulgarian Antarctic research ship "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" has successfully passed through the turbulent waters of the Drake Passage and is expected to arrive at Livingston Island soon. 
Scientists from the United Arab Emirates, Montenegro and Greece are sailing to Antarctica for the first time on board the Bulgarian shipThey boarded in the Argentine port city of Ushuaia, together with Bulgarian scientists who will work in the South Shetland Islands region. 
They are also accompanied by logisticians ensuring scientific activities, as well as builders who must complete the new scientific laboratory at the Bulgarian base. 

For the third consecutive year, cadets from the Higher Naval School "Nikola Yonkov Vaptsarov" are conducting their long-term practice on board.

The expedition also includes Marina Velikova, music editor from Horizont channel of the Bulgarian National Radio.
