Grigor Dimitrov will play his first match of the new tennis season at the ATP 250 tournament in Brisbane, Australia, where he will face qualifier Yannick Hanfmann from Germany

If he wins, the second-seeded Grigor Dimitrov will face either David Goffin (Belgium) or Aleksandar Vukic (Australia) who was handed a wildcard for the 2025 Brisbane International.

The Bulgarian tennis player was also supposed to play in the Men's doubles, but his American partner Sebastian Korda withdrew due to back pain.

Grigor Dimitrov will defend his title from 2024, when he won the final against Holger Rune (Denmark). He also won the tournament in 2017 and reached the final in 2013.
