Sofia Airport redirects flights because of dense fog at the discretion of crews

Five flights have been redirected from Sofia Airport by the crews' decision due to the dense fog in the area of the airport, Sofia Airport officials announced to the Bulgarian National Radio. From 0 to 1 am, flights from Nice, Barcelona, ​​Bouvet and Munich have been redirected to the airpot in Bulgaria's Burgas, the one from Stuttgart has been redirected to Skopje Airport

Flights from Milan and London have landed. 

Sofia Airport provides the possibility of landing in winter fog conditions, but flights can be redirected at the discretion of the crews.

Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Romania, Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia and Turkey, the Border Police announced. 

The ferry ship "Bdin", flying under the Bulgarian flag and serving the Nikopol-T. Magurele line, has resumed operations since December 29. The ferry ship "Evropa", flying under the Romanian flag, has suspended sailing to and from Romania due to damage.
