President Radev gives parties time until January 13 to agree on a cabinet

The President has postponed the handing over of the first exploratory mandate for forming a government to GERB until January 13.

Before the Epiphany ceremony in Sofia, Rumen Radev announced that the parliament should adopt a state budget for 2025 and that it should include an increase in the salaries of military personnel.

At the ritual, the caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev also expressed hope that there would be a regular government and that before their Easter vacation, the MPs will adopt the country's budget.

We enter 2025 as optimists, as we will to receive the first new combat aircraft, combat vehicles, ships, caretaker Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov, said.
