Cadets from Vietnam are training at the Georgi Benkovski Air Force Academy in Dolna Mitropolia. This year they will study Bulgarian, after which their flight training will begin. This was what the head of the school, Brigadier General Julian Radoyski said today in Pleven, quoted by BTA.
Radoyski commented that this is reviving of an old tradition from 40 years ago, when the school had many cadets from Vietnam. This year there will be five of them, but the plans are for their number to increase in the coming years. The training will last a total of five years.
Currently, talks are also underway about the training of pilots and engineering and technical staff from Armenia and Nigeria.
