Democratic Bulgaria stated in a message to the media that the nominations for prime minister and the composition of the Council of Ministers should be discussed at a leaders' meeting and after reaching a final agreement on the governance pact.

Democratic Bulgaria’s statement came in response to GERB's announcement that they would continue talks on forming a government with BSP-United Left and There is Such a People. GERB confirmed the nomination of Rosen Zhelyazkov as a candidate for prime minister and clarified that talks with Democratic Bulgaria would only take place if they declare readiness to support a regular government with Rosen Zhelyazkov as prime minister.
