Bulgaria’s accession to the eurozone is the next major priority after the country’s full membership in Schengen. "The eurozone is at our doorstep", caretaker Premier Dimitar Glavchev said. He made this comment at the beginning of the first government meeting of the year, reported journalist Tsvetelina Stoyanova.

 In the report on the achievements of the past year, Dimitar Glavchev highlighted the efforts towards one of the country's key priorities – membership in the eurozone. "The eurozone is at our doorstep, and we are literally days away from fulfilling the fourth (final) criterion – price stability. So, we remain in a good position", Premier Glavchev went on to say.
