Currently, water management is fragmented, responsibilities are blurred between many ministries and institutions and there is no specific authority to take care of this, Dimitrov said. It is necessary for water companies to have long-term development plans, he added. We expect the problem to be solved with European funds as a panacea, but this is impossible.
