The band Tangra has been in the Bulgarian music scene for almost half a century and is still relevant. One of the favourite bands of generations of rock lovers, Tangra today leads a very active musical and creative life. Their line-up has been renewed - for about seven years now they have had frontman and singer Borislav Mudolov, also known as Bobi Kosatkata ('the killer whale') from the bands Der Hunds and Intelligent Music Project. He describes how wonderful it feels to sing the songs he has known by heart since childhood:

"Of course I was a fan of Tangra. At first it was a bit strange to become the front man of this band. But now it's so easy for me because I let the audience sing along and I know the songs by heart - I knew them long before I joined the band. It's easy to be the front man of Tangra with these songs," says Bobi with a smile.

There is a new release from Tangra - a rendition of the song Our Town, an extremely popular song of the past and present, loved by several generations of Bulgarians, with composer Boris Karadimchev and Alexander Petrov - author of the lyrics.

The new video was shot 45 years later on the same locations in Belogradchik where the original video was filmed, only now the musicians from the new line-up of the band can be seen walking through the streets.

The new arrangement is by Tangra's pianist Danny Ganchev, who decided to add more pianos and strings at the suggestion of lyricist Alexander Petrov. The band's guitarist, Ivo Chalakov, also took part in the re-arrangement. And Bobi Kosatkata sings the popular song "in his own way", as he says.
