Radoslav Yankov and Tervel Zamfirov advance in Bansko World Cup qualifiers

Radoslav Yankov and Tervel Zamfirov qualified for the first parallel giant slalom of the World Cup in Bansko.

Yankov secured second place with a time of 1 minute 13.62 seconds, while Zamfirov finished seventh, achieving a personal best and improving on his 11th place finish at the Carezza competition earlier in the season.

In the direct elimination rounds, Tervel Zamfirov's first opponent will be Germany's Elias Huber, who finished 10th in the qualifying.

The other Bulgarian competitors did not make it past the qualifying stage.
