Foreign Minister discusses release of a Bulgarian hostage with Qatari Prime Minister

The Bulgarian Minister of Foreign affairs highly appreciated Qatar's ongoing efforts to promote peace in the Middle East and mediate a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Minister Georg Georgiev pointed out that Bulgaria will continue to support the efforts of the international community to fully implement the agreements, which would lead to the release of all remaining hostages.

The conversation expressed gratitude to Qatar for its assistance in resolving the case with the crew of the Galaxy Leader ship. Georgiev also expressed special gratitude for the release of Bulgarian citizen Daniela Bilboa, held captive by Hamas. The recent release of the remaining hostages, including Bulgarian citizen Matan Angrest, was also discussed.
