It will be cloudy and foggy on Wednesday with rain showers in some areas

During the night, the cloud cover will be significant. There will be fog in many places in the plains and valleys. The weather will be almost calm in most regions. There will be moderate southerly and southwesterly winds in Eastern Bulgaria and north of the mountains. Minimum temperatures will range between 0°C and 5°C, higher in the eastern parts of the country and the Prebalkans, around 1°C in Sofia.

On Wednesday, there will be fog along the Danube River and in the western part of the Upper Thracian Plain. It will be mostly cloudy in most of the country, and by evening, it will start raining in some places in Western Bulgaria. There will be light to moderate southerly and southwesterly winds. The maximum temperatures will range from 15° C to 20°C, lower in areas with persistent fog, around 14° C in Sofia.

It will be mostly cloudy in the mountains. After noon, it will start raining in the massifs of Western Bulgaria. It will snow above 1,700 meters. There will moderate to temporarily strong westerly and southwesterly winds. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 11°C, at 2,000 meters, around 3°C.

It will be mostly cloudy over the Black Sea coast. There will be moderate southerly and southwesterly winds. Daytime highs will range from 15°C to 18°C. The seawater temperature is 8°C-9°C. Sea state 1-2.
