Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev held a phone call with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safadi

Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev held a phone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman al-Safadi. The two discussed the readiness of Bulgaria and Jordan to maintain an active political dialogue at all levels.

Ayman al-Safadi congratulated Minister Georgiev on his appointment. They also discussed concrete future steps for the exchange of high-level and top-level visits. The two sides rallied around the idea that this would give further impetus to the friendly relations between the two countries and their fruitful cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The two ministers also talked about the situation in the Middle East, reported BTA.
