"Saracta" - a dive into the mysticism of the Proto-Bulgarians

Today we go on a journey through time with Saracta - the daring musical adventure of producers Fabrizio Parisi and The Editor. This time a legendary name in Bulgarian music has joined the challenge - Gospodin Gospodinov-Geppy. With this project he returns after a 20-year musical hiatus.

The mesmerising iso vocals and non-commercial house rhythms take us back centuries. The sound of the bagpipes played by Geppy, who co-wrote the music with Fabrizio Parisi and The Editor, adds to the effect. Saracta draws us into the mysticism of the proto-Bulgarians, the ancient calendar of our ancestors and the mysteries of the summer and winter solstices and equinoxes.

The video to Saracta does not add to the message, but builds on it. It focuses on the Proto-Bulgarian calendar - the oldest and most accurate calendar in the world. Geppy takes on the role of the Keeper of ancient knowledge.

Mysticism is woven into the entire set and even the costumes, created by the fantastic Plamena Boeva - a costume designer who specialised at the world-famous Cinecitta film studio in Rome and works exclusively for the Italian theatre scene.

The whole vision of Saracta is a mystical story about our ancient and glorious ancestors that goes beyond the boundaries of music.
