The war in Ukraine has no military solution and diplomacy should prevail, said President Rumen Radev, who hosted the traditional annual reception for the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Bulgaria. At the event, held at the National History Museum, Bulgaria’s head of state emphasized that the path to finding peace in Ukraine will be a very difficult and complex process.

Although the past year was marked by severe challenges, Bulgarian foreign policy continued to be guided by its convictions and worked to strengthen security and stability, as well as to promote dialogue and cooperation, Radev noted, calling for enhanced cooperation between the countries.
