The Bulgarian government will work to restore the image of the country as a reliable economic partner and a promising location for investments and business. This was what Minister of Economy Petar Dilov said at a meeting with Boni Bonev, Chairman of the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, and Vassil Radoinovski, Head of the Secretariat of the chamber. At the meeting, it was pointed out that according to BNB data, direct Swiss investments in Bulgaria amount to nearly 4 billion euros.

Swiss investors are developing activities in this country in traditionally fast-growing sectors such as energy, food and beverage industry, cement industry, electronics and electrical engineering, production of industrial batteries, etc. The chamber pointed out that Swiss investors are interested in establishing development centers in Bulgaria, as there are already good examples of this.
