The Federation of Consumers in Bulgaria, the movement “The system is killing us” and the Allied Pensioners Unions have called for a boycott of the high prices in food chains on 13, February, following the example of Croatians. The government is also urged to approve a price cap on 70 basic foods.
The boycott in Croatia on Friday, 24 and Friday, 31 January brought about a more than 40% drop in the sales of the supermarkets in the country affected.
