Weather forecast for 11 February

On Tuesday morning, visibility will be reduced in the plains and valleys. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 10 and minus 4°C, reaching minus 14°C in isolated valleys. In Sofia it will be around minus 10°C. During the day it will be mostly sunny, with increasing clouds in the eastern regions. There will be light to moderate winds. Maximum temperatures will be between minus 1 and 4°C, reaching 8°C in the southern regions and around 2°C in the capital.

In the mountains it will be sunny. Moderate to strong winds will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature will be minus 2°C at 1,200 m and around minus 7°C at 2,000 m.

Clouds will increase along the Black Sea coast. Moderate to strong northerly winds will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 1 and 3°C. The sea temperature will be 5-7°C. The sea swell will be 3-4.

On Wednesday, variable clouds will cover most of the country. There will be significant clouds over the easternmost areas where light snowfall is possible. After midday, clouds will increase from the west. Overnight and morning temperatures will remain well below freezing. Daytime highs will be in a wide range of 3-4°C, reaching 8°C in the southernmost areas.
